Composite Images
Long before AI, composite images were a thing. In many cases, it allowed an image to be created that, perhaps didn’t exist or maybe wasn’t captured.
A composite image is a photograph created by combining two or more separate images into a single, unified image.
This is done, in this case digitally, using software and can involve layering, masking, blending, or other techniques to make the elements appear as though they naturally belong together.
In short, a composite image blends multiple sources into one seamless final image that tells a specific story or achieves a visual goal. Here are a few of my favorites I have created from photos I made.
