If you told me I would be photographing large agricultural equipment in American farmland, I would not have believed you.

A new area of creativity was bestowed on me—one I grew to love.

It is a mix of scale, rhythm, and respect for the work being done. Standing next to massive machines in wide-open fields immediately puts things into perspective—the size of the land, the power of the equipment, and the human effort behind it all. But capturing these images is not the only task for me. It’s a challenge to create eye-appealing images. A challenge I accept with open arms.

There’s a strong visual contrast at play: clean lines of steel against textured soil, dust hanging in the air, early-morning light cutting through rows of crops. Timing matters, whether it’s capturing a harvester rolling through golden fields or a tractor silhouetted against a Midwestern sunset.

More than anything, it’s about storytelling. These machines aren’t just equipment—they’re tools of livelihood, symbols of tradition and innovation working side by side. Photographing them in action captures the grit, patience, and pride woven into American agriculture, where long days and wide horizons define the landscape.
