Lynch Mob

Iconic guitarist George Lynch and his band, Lynch Mob, live at Mickey’s Black Box in Lititz, PA, 2024.

I’ve been a fan of George Lynch for many years, following his career and the many bands that shaped his legacy. When Lynch Mob came to my hometown, photographing the show was an easy decision. Thanks to Jaron, George’s bass player, I was given the opportunity to be there, camera in hand, documenting a performance I had long admired from the crowd.

Photographing a rock and roll show is a challenge unlike any other. The lighting shifts constantly—from intense bursts of color to deep shadows—while flashes, lasers, smoke, and nonstop movement test both timing and exposure. Every song brings a new visual puzzle.

Amid the chaos, there’s a rhythm to capture: the connection between the band and the audience, the intensity on stage, and the raw energy that makes live rock music unforgettable. Freezing those moments in time—when sound, light, and emotion collide—is what makes concert photography so rewarding.
