I captured these moments while these dazzling dancers were in Maryland performing to a sold out audience. 

To shoot a burlesque show is a thrilling mix of artistry, trust, and split-second timing. It’s not just about glamour or tease. It’s about capturing confidence, humor, vulnerability, and power all at once.

Every performer tells a story through movement, expression, and costume, and the camera has to be ready to catch those fleeting moments where emotion and performance peak.

Low light, fast movement, dramatic contrasts, and no second chances are all challenges. You’re constantly reading the stage, anticipating a pose, a glance, a reveal. When it works, the images feel electric and full of personality and presence.
